B2B Multimedia Designer

Scribewise is hiring a Multimedia Designer—a competent, confident marketer with 2+ years of design experience who embraces our “no passengers” mindset and can expand our design offering.

The person in this position will work closely with our Creative Director to create impactful content experiences for our clients.

As our Multimedia Designer, you’ll breathe life into the visual identity and marketing for clients across a variety of B2B industries. You’ll help to set the direction and execute the design for everything from social chips and infographics to story streams, websites, white papers and sell sheets—and new ideas that you cook up with our Creative Director.

We’re looking for a person who is:

  • A strong, confident, experienced B2B marketer 
  • Intellectually curious
  • Able to toggle back and forth between clients and industries
  • Courageous enough to be creative. Just because the client requested X and we said we’d deliver X, every now and then we want you to consider Y, if you think it achieves the goal in a better way
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and incredibly dependable
  • Enthusiastic about working alongside great colleagues with the goal of creating great work

Specific technical components of the job include:

  • Use Adobe Creative Cloud Design Suite to generate designs for use on social media, websites, emails and printed materials
  • Proof materials in an accurate manner, delivering high-quality, on-time and error-free drafts
  • Design and produce web-specific graphics (e.g. static and animated banners, ads and social media) and other forms of media
  • Design and produce final mechanicals for creative services requests (e.g. logos, collateral print materials, advertising, web banners, multimedia, etc.)
  • Assist with the creation, editing and printing of sales and marketing collateral pieces
  • Find graphical solutions while working through design challenges, effects and techniques
  • Manage large file delivery and organize a workflow environment
  • Recommend / choose the right style, graphics, images and other visual elements according to the objectives of the project
  • Experience in production and pre-press procedures is a plus
  • Video editing and production experience is a plus
  • Web development experience is a plus

  • Employees who live within 50 miles of the office will be expected in three days a week. We are not going to take attendance. We’re not going to have sign-up sheets to be in the office. We’re going to treat everyone like adults.
  • Because we are a family-friendly company, any parent with a pre-school age child will have these expectations waived.
  • Employees who live between 50 and 100 miles from the office will be considered “near-remote” employees and the in-office expectations will be mostly waived.
  • Employees who live further than 100 miles from the office are “fully remote employees” and will not be expected to come to the office.
